The Ministry of Human Rights, Government of Pakistan has initiated a national program to introduce Business and Human Rights in Pakistan by adopting the United Nation’s Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights. The Ministry in collaboration with a number of stakeholders aims develop a National Action Plan to ensure the State of Pakistan and Businesses operating in the country adhere to the highest standards of human rights in all economic activity in the country. The national programme will not only re-emphasize the importance of human rights in business activity but will also aim to promote positive business practices and secure effective remedies for those negatively impacted by business activity.


You can participate in the development and implementation of a National Action Plan on Business and Human Rights in Pakistan through various means. Whether you are a Business Owner, Business Manager, Employee, Member of Civil Society, Academic, Lawyer, Government Official, or Consumer, a variety of options are available to you to make an impact on the issue of Human Rights in the Business Context.



We invite Business leaders, Employers, Employees, Civil Society Members, Lawyers and experts on Business and Human Rights in Pakistan to contribute to the discussion in order to promote and understand human rights in the business context.
